Richmond Hill, ON

Another long haul (well, it was only 5.5 hours or so but it was icing on the cake after yesterday’s 11-banger) from Ottawa to Toronto. I can already imagine the benefits of having someone else to share the driving with, and this is only day 2!

People in Canada drive their cars hard – people are bombing on the highways, and I’m getting stuck a bunch of times in the fast lane because everything outside of major cities is only 2 lanes. I know what you’re thinking – he’s driving like a total wuss-puss! Think not - the Honda is all about cruise control (he’s a “mature” 150k) and it’s not working too well with the people merging onto the highway and instantly gunning it up to 90.

Met up with uncle John and cousin Jeremy. Had a great dinner at the Richmond Hill Swiss Chalet and then we went back to the house and hung out in the back yard and had frosties for a couple of hours.
