Martha's Vineyard

June 30th - July 3rd:

Hi all,

First stop on the work "sabbatical" (I officially ended my long stint with Warner-Lambert, Pfizer, and J&J on 6/15/07!) was Martha's Vineyard. Habs came out from CA and we visited with her parents in Edgartown for a few days. View 'em and weep! My favorite types of pics could be classified as somewhat random...you'll get the idea!

After a long flight in from CA, Habs of course needs the beauty sleep...check out that Paris Hilton/Nicole Richie sleeping mask!

Sweet outdoor shower, eh?! Just watch out for the mosquitoes. Someday I'm going to install a few mosquito magnets (they work great...have one up in Maine).

Ok, so there are a bunch of random old school posters pinned up around the house...this has always been my favorite - at first you think it's a facetious jab at folks that don't recycle, but on the other hand think about the bravado of a mega corporation like AT&T back in it's heyday!!

Here's a sweet one for anyone that's really opinionated or close minded!!

Ok, here's something random...Mrs. H was working on a puzzle when we arrived...I got totally sucked into it and just had to finish it before we went. A couple of LATE nights (how sad is that - "oh, you pulled a few late nights on the Vineyard, eh? I hear the bars are super sweet." "No man, I was working on a puzzle...")

P.S. That's me in the middle!

Here's a total Vineyard quirk - the signs on the island are terrible. Here's one example for the airport - I can tell you that the airport is less than a mile to the right from this vantage point. If you're the poor sucker that picks left, you're missing your flight ;) Completely yagadocious.

Habs and I are pretty into disc golf...there was a sweet course on the island near the airport that we hit up (Riverhead). Check these out...

Nice trees...LONG putt!

Hope the trees aren't hungry today!

Long drive...Habs in the tee box. Yours truly had a nice 3 (I mean 4 ;).

As Stokely (http://www.scottstokely.com/) would say, take the trees out of play with the side-arm. As you can see, he would not be proud!

Check this out...on the ferry ride back to Woods Hole, we saw a cool Coast Guard exercise. Looks like something right up Andrew's alley.

Hello Andrew - Amazing trip so far. Bike ride through the tunnel sounded great. Never knew the wind mills had doors. It's a big country.
